Co-assistenten EMC
Voor co-assistenten en huisartsen in opleiding van het EMC verzorgen wij bijscholing.
Dit inzake de diverse aspecten van de duikgeneeskunde. Daarnaast wordt een inleiding in de hyperbare geneeskunde verzorgd.

Onderwijs in medische aspecten duiken

Delta Medicine heeft al geruime tijd een relatie met het Nationaal Duik Centrum NDC. Tegenwoordig is het NDC opgegaan in de Stichting Werken onder overdruk (SWOD). SWOD verzorgt de opleiding voor beroepsduikers en beroepsduikerartsen.

Vanwege het herziene overheidsbeleid t.a.v. opleiding en certificering heeft het NDC taken overgedragen aan het NDC CI (certificering) en Stichting Nederlands Opleidings- en Kenniscentrum voor arbeid onder overdruk (NOK).

Delta Medicine geeft in opdracht van de Stichting Nederlands Opleidings- en Kenniscentrum voor Arbeid onder Overdruk (NOK), onderwijs in medische aspecten van het duiken (MAD A) aan beroepsduikers. De opleidingen worden gecoördineerd door medewerkers van NOK. De onderwijslokatie is het Gelres End in Hedel. Voor meer informatie zie www.NDC.nl
De NOK-certificaten zijn wereldwijd erkend.

Beroepsduiker Artsen

Delta Medicine participeert in opdracht van Stichting Nederlandse Opleidings- en Kenniscentrum voor Arbeid onder Overdruk (NOK) in erkende opleidingen voor beroepsduiker artsen.

De basiscursus Duikerarts A (conform EDTC) omvat o.a. fysica, anatomie en fysiologie van het duiken, behandeling van de primaire en secondaire duikerziekten, decompressie problematiek, behandeling , casuïstiek, gebruik van gangbare richtlijnen en ongevalsbespreking.

De cursus duurt 5 dagen en wordt door vooraanstaande duikmedische specialisten in het veld gegeven.

Delta Medicine heeft uitgebreide ervaring met de basis- en verdiepingscursussen voor de beroepsduiker artsen. De cursussen voldoen aan de eisen van de Overheid (conform EDTC).

Studenten Geneeskunde AMC

Delta Medicine participeert in het curriculum Medisch Onderwijs Hyperbare Geneeskunde in het Academisch Medisch Centrum. Het betreft het geven van colleges aan vijfde jaars studenten Geneeskunde over de basisprincipes, indicaties en resultaten van de Hyperbare Zuurstoftherapie.
Delta Medicine maakt zich sterk om het onderwijs uit te breiden naar andere onderwijsmomenten bij medisch studenten, zoals fysiologie en medische fysica.

Sportduikers presentatie bijwonen

Voor sportduikers organiseren wij een twee uur durende presentatie over de acute opvang van duikslachtoffers
Hierin komen de acute as zoals trauma-heli/ ambulance, de opvang op de spoedeisende hulp, de triage en de behandeling in de decompressietank van het Admiraal De Ruyter Ziekenhuis aan bod.
Natuurlijk wordt er ook uitgebreid stilgestaan bij de fysiologie van de duikerziekten, voor menig duiker zal dit een opfriscursus zijn. Na het theoretisch deel ongeveer 45 min is er een korte pauze.

Vervolgens wordt de gelegenheid geboden een droge duik te maken
Elke duiker kan zijn dieptemeter controleren. Voorwaarde is dat duiker wel een geldige keuring heeft. Na de duik worden de logboeken afgetekend met een professionele stempel van het Hyperbaar Centrum. De voordracht kan onderbroken worden als zich een spoedgeval aandient. Wij vragen hiervoor uw begrip. Er zal in voorkomend geval een nieuwe datum worden geprikt.
